Ten-man Scunthorpe maintained their unbeaten start to the Enterprise National League season after a gutsy 1-1 draw with visitors Halifax.
The Iron had Branden Horton sent off following an off-the-ball incident shortly before half-time and survived some serious second-half pressure to take a point.
Halifax had the best of the first-half chances with Will Hugill volleying close on the half hour and Jay Turner-Cooke having a close-range effort deflected wide.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Scunthorpe broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute when Callum Roberts cut in from the right and fired a low shot past Halifax keeper Sam Johnson.
But the hosts held their lead for less than three minutes with David Kawa quickly responding for the Shaymen, who missed another good chance from Turner-Cooke late on.
