Bayer Leverkusen are in talks with Liverpool over defender Jarell Quansah.
The 22-year-old defender, who only signed a new five-year contract in October, is fourth-choice centre-back at Anfield despite starting the first match of last season.

Quansah is currently at the European Championship with England Under-21s and earlier this week said: “I’m in a very good position to take the next step.”
Negotiations are at an early stage and are not linked to Liverpool’s club-record deal for the Bundesliga side’s playmaker Florian Wirtz, whose arrival in a potential £115million deal could be announced as early as Friday.
