Football rumours: Bayern Munich rule out Leroy Sane exit

What the papers say

Bayern Munich have reportedly ruled out a January exit for winger Leroy Sane, the Daily Mirror reports. Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United were reportedly interested in the German star, who has been struggling to pick up minutes under coach Vincent Kompany at the Allianz Arena in recent weeks.

Brighton technical director David Weir and his assistant Mike Cave have reportedly led an overhaul of the club’s recruiting department, including letting go of several scouts. The Daily Telegraph reports that others have been redeployed. Brighton’s planned restructure will reportedly take its recruiting headcount back up to near its previous level once completed.

Manchester United could be plotting a shock move for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku. The Sun reports the 26-year-old is unhappy with his lack of game time at Chelsea, and Blues boss Enzo Maresca could be open to letting him leave.
